£277,000
What discovery found on my first build in week one: a collectable chase list their old reporting never surfaced, plus a £5,500 double count reported as real revenue. The build fee is anchored to what discovery finds. On that build the fee was recovered by the first item on the chase list.
Fair questions
Do I have to buy the dashboard?
No, and most people should not start there. The £300 audit is a complete job on its own: you get a written report and you are free to fix everything yourself. Automations are sold standalone too. The dashboard is the top of the ladder, not the entry fee, and I would rather do three small jobs well than sell you a big one you were not ready for.
Are you an agency?
No. One person. I do the discovery, build the system, write the briefings and answer the phone. That is why the build costs a third of an agency quote, why there is no account manager between you and the person who built it, and why it takes weeks rather than quarters. The trade-off is stated plainly: you get me, not a team, and my name is on the result.
Why is the founding rate so low?
Because I'm early and honest about it. The first three clients get a £2,500 build for £1,500, and in exchange I get a named case study and a straight answer on what's worth improving. The work is the same. The price is lower because you are early and the case study is worth something to me.
What happens if I cancel the retainer?
The dashboard keeps working with the data it has. You lose the monthly refresh, briefings and included changes, nothing else. Restarting later is fine.
What happens if you stop doing this?
A fair question for any one-person firm, so the answer is written into the engagement terms issued with your quote, not a reassurance: you hold read-only credentials to your own database from day one, the terms include a 90-day wind-down with a written handover, and your data comes back to you with our copies deleted. The system is built to outlive the arrangement.
What if my data is a mess?
Messy data is the normal case, not the exception. My first build ran on an export whose encoding broke every tool the client tried. If it can be read, it can be reconciled; if something genuinely can't be trusted, the findings document says so out loud rather than hiding it.
